Flower propagation

One of the main challenges of the Production team is to increase crop productivity. Among the achievements that stand out from recent times is the one accomplished with alstroemeria: where we went from 210 to 280 stems per square meter- a very encouraging number.

What is most thrilling about this achievement is what is behind- several years of team work to do the benchmark exercises that enabled us to choose the best practices; to carry out trials in those subjects we didn´t know; to secure support from INV to find the most productive varieties…. a number of factors that required the discipline in the execution of the practices we had all agreed on.

And it is very stimulating to know that when we come out with the more productive varieties, the sales team is ready to deliver the additional flowers to new customers who will be able to admire and enjoy them.
